  • Porcelein, silk and lacquerware imported from china and japan were extremely fashionable
  • Many British Craftmen and designers immitated Asian designs to reate their own versions from the East
  • From 1750-1765 the style was most popular
  • Features of the Chinoiserie style include people in chinese clothing, chinese landscapes, birds, dragons and Pagodas
